Typical applications are found in the foodstuff, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and outdoor applications. Wherever moisture, chemicals or stainless materials play a role.

Their strengths lie in precision and durability: Tight tolerances as well as hardened and ground surfaces ensure precise tool guidance, reduce wear and ensure stable, economical series processes. At the same time, the drill bushes are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and dimensionally stable - ideal for automated production lines with consistently high process quality.

168 cylindrical drill bushes (DIN 179) and 168 flanged drill bushes (DIN 172). While flanged bushes are used for axial securing, cylindrical variants are used°when the bush needs to be completely countersunk into the holder.

Both types are available in Form A (radius one side) and Form B (radii both sides). The inside diameters range from 2-25 mm (Form A) and 2.5-25 mm (Form B). Form A is suitable for simple applications, Form B for alternating machining directions with tool-friendly entry and exit.

A large number of variants are available from stock and can therefore usually be delivered at short notice. In addition, customer-specific versions can be implemented on request.
